Meet the Team

Head Receptionist

Since I greet all of our patients and their families when they arrive for their visits, I get to know them on a personal level. Learning their names, their passions and interests, and then seeing their smiles as they come through the door just bursting with enthusiasm to tell me the latest news, always makes me happy. I am here to make sure their visits run smoothly and that everything is convenient for them. That means I schedule appointments when it’s easiest for them to get here, handle billing matters, and make sure they get the most from their insurance benefits, too. I love my job and I love that I work in a practice where the needs of the individual patient are always our foremost priority.

Away from the office, I like to spend time with my four children and seven grandchildren. I also enjoy traveling, especially going to the beach, and walking, gardening, and losing myself in a good book, too.

As a people person, I love that my day is filled with conversations with fascinating people. Because we see our patients on a regular basis, I get to develop a real relationship with each person, and they make my days a joy. I love watching them grow and change while we create their new smile, and celebrating with them when their braces come off! I greet patients and make sure they’re comfortable in our reception area. I also answer the phones, schedule appointments, and do anything and everything I can to make sure every patient’s visits are pleasant.

I’m a recent arrival to East Meadow, having moved here in 2013. My husband, Jamaal, and daughter, Catalina, and I love it here. My favorite things to do when I’m not working, besides spending time with my family, are working out and running. I love getting my heartrate up and going.

Reception, Billing, and Receivables

I spend each day talking with our patients and their families, to hear the latest news. It’s so much fun to build these relationships, and when I see the joy on a patient’s face as treatment is completed, I am happy for them, because I’ve come to think of that person as a friend. I work at our front desk, schedule patient appointments, handle correspondence with insurance companies and referring doctors’ offices, work with billing and insurance contracts, and answer patient and parent questions. I keep busy and I love every minute of it.

I’m originally from Lynbrook, and have lived in Huntington Station since 1995. I have two children, Christine and Brittany, two step-children, Joseph and Melanie, and a husband, Don. We share our lives with a cat and a bearded dragon. When I’m away from work, I enjoy gardening, boating, fishing, and camping. I’m also an avid reader.

Laboratory Tech

While I don’t work directly with our patients, I get to know each of them and their families as they move through the treatment process, and I love playing a role in the development of their new smiles. Witnessing the journey from crooked to straight teeth, and seeing the changes that happen in a person’s self-confidence during that journey, is incredibly rewarding. Working in our onsite lab, I pour impressions and trim models, and make retainers and nightguards, as well. I’m also the person who decorates our office for the holidays.

I’ve called West Babylon home since 1968. In addition to my husband Jim, I have two daughters, Nicole and Natalie, and we have two family pets, too: Angel and Chilly. I enjoy arts and crafts projects, floral design, camping, and four-wheeling.

I make an effort with each patient to develop connections based on trust. I love it when I can reduce someone’s fears and anxieties about their orthodontic care, and show them that their visits are something to be enjoyed. My days are spent providing patient care, taking X-rays and impressions, changing wires, preparing teeth for brackets, and delivering patient and parent education, especially explaining procedures and how they work. It’s a good feeling to know I can alleviate worry with information and a friendly smile.

I’ve lived in West Babylon since 1992. During my time outside the office, I prefer being with my husband David, children Lauren and Adriana, and our pets, Sophie and Max. Keeping active is important to me and I enjoy walking and Zumba. Shopping is also a favorite activity, as is reading a good book.

Registered Dental Hygienist

I enjoy seeing beautiful smiles being created every day. I love being part of the process, and building personal relationships with the patients and their families, starting when a patient is young, and watching them grow up while their smile is being developed. I welcome new patients to our practice, and work primarily in our back office as a clinical hygienist. I deliver all aspects of clinical assistance, to ensure the patient’s comfort throughout the process. It’s a pleasure when a patient smiles and thanks me at the end of a visit!

I’ve lived in Smithtown for 16 years, with my husband Alex, and two daughters: Cristina, who is a physician’s assistant, and Alexa, who is a student at the University of Tampa. I keep busy away from work, and enjoy gardening and spin classes, going upstate to our country house, and attending Broadway musicals in NYC.

Registered Dental Hygienist

It’s a great feeling to know you’re making a person happy, and that’s always my focus. I want a patient to feel safe and welcome while here, and I love coaxing smiles from them. Even better is when I can make them laugh and start building a friendship, which strengthens as they move through treatment. I’m a clinical hygienist, and provide assistance to our doctors during procedures. I also teach patients about proper oral hygiene while they’re wearing their braces, so they’ll have a beautiful smile at the end of treatment.

East Northport has been my home since 1991. During my time off, I like traveling, going to the beach, and shopping.

I explain to my patients how important it is to brush and floss thoroughly to have a beautiful smile! The main reason I’ve worked in orthodontics for the past 22 years is because I love interacting with patients on a daily basis. I believe to be successful in orthodontics, it is important to build trust and relationships in order for the patients to feel comfortable. Building those relationships and getting to know my patients on a personal level is one of my favorite and most fulfilling parts of my work.

I am the proud mother of four children and one Boxer named Prada. I love staying active, riding my bike, hiking, and swimming. If it’s outdoors, I love it!

I am here to educate patients on how to maintain a clean mouth during their orthodontic treatment, and after their treatment is complete, how to keep their new smile looking and feeling great! I love that I get to talk with so many different people throughout each day and get to know each patient on a personal level. It is very rewarding when a patient specifically asks to see me! I also enjoy working with our wonderful team; everyone is very friendly and makes our office a comfortable place to spend our days.

I am originally from Bellmore, NY, and recently moved to East Northport. My husband, Kevin, and I have three children, Colin, Aidan, and Ashton, and a Shih-Tzu named Gigi. As a family, we love swimming and boating in the spring and summer, and I personally enjoy working in my garden.
